Welcome to the Manitoba Working & Herding Association Alaskan Malamute Specialty page!
The specialty will be held on November 11th in Brandon, Manitoba in conjunction with the Wheat City KC dog show (November 10th, 11th, and 12th). We hope you will join us for a fun filled weekend that will offer FIVE sets of points for Malamutes, THREE Rally trials, THREE Obedience trials, and TWO Agility Trials!

Note on Grooming
The specialty committee has negotiated a deal on grooming with Wheat City. They will provide a block of grooming spaces at a reduced cost to us. We plan to subsidize a portion of the fees therefore the cost per exhibitor shouldn’t exceed $20. The actual cost will be determined once entries close and we know how big of a space we’ll need to accommodate everyone. I’ll collect payment at the specialty. If you’d like in on this deal just send me an email at fireflies@mymts.net and let me know how many crates/tables you plan to bring.
If you’d prefer to set up on your own a regular 10x10 space with power is $50…but you’ll miss out on all the fun we plan to have!
